Typodonts
Like
the majority of our products, most of our typodonts are custom made, allowing
each customer the distinction of differentiating their typodonts from their competitors.
Following is an abbreviated list of standard and special features and services
available with our typodonts. |
- An
Orthodontic Consultant and Manufacturing Process Specialist on staff to assist
with custom designing.
- Anatomical
teeth, modified, shaded, set and articulated to customer specification.
- Etched
teeth (optional) to enhance the bond between the tooth and the bracket.
- Arches,
custom contoured and configured.
- Name,
logo and or other nomenclature/insignia (optional) sealed beneath a protective
plate, engraved or laser printed.
- Bracket,
band and attachment placement.
- Brackets
"beaded" around their perimeter to enhance bond strength.
- A
removable, durable Universal Hinge or Presentation Articulator affixed to the
heel of the upper and lower arches.
- An
impact resistant plastic display/shipping container with die cut foam inserts
and snap lid.
- Custom
designed typodonts at stock prices. Paradigm may cover development costs
based on volume.

Teeth
sets are packaged in our Tooth Pak© container, 28 teeth per card. Each tooth
is anatomically contoured. Etched or smooth surfaces are available in white or
natural shades. Custom shading is available and quoted on an individual basis.

Wax
Forms
Tissue
colored, semi-hard wax forms for water bath or finger orthodontic techniques are
available in Ideal Occlusion, Class I Crowded, Class II Division I, Class II Division
II, and Class III configurations with matching teeth in white or natural shades.
Wax form teeth are packaged in our TOOTH PAK© or loose in a plastic Ziploc
container.

Implants
We
are certified or otherwise experienced in most dental implant systems including
Zimmer, Branemark/SterioOss, Friatec®, Lifecore, ITI Straumann and Innova.
Models that demonstrate the three most often prescribed clinical applications
are available in most of these systems. Each model is made with high impact acrylic
and Classic® denture teeth. Small plastic feet are affixed to the base of
each model to minimize abrasion.

Surgical
Edentulous, partially edentulous and full dentition mandible and maxilla models
are available for drilling and other surgical training exercises. The model material
closely resembles the density of bone and can be varied to accommodate individual
preference. A tissue like coating can be applied and is ideal for exercises that
simulate tissue excision, implant
preparation
and bone packing and suturing.

Custom
Molds
Paradigm develops molds from master models submitted by our
customers or from masters develop in house based on customer instruction. While
several materials are available our typical mold is made from a high definition,
tear resistant material. Molds are available in a wide range of colors, though
tissue colored pink is the most popular. Our molds vary in rigidity from very
flexible to semi-rigid and can be custom laser printed.

Universal Hinge
Stock
hinge, opaque with 4 machined screws, is made of durable plastic and sized to
fit our standard and custom typodonts. Replacement hinges and screws are available
in packages of 10.

Presentation
Articulator
Optional articulator/hinge is spring loaded
and serves a dual purpose. In addition to maintaining proper occlusion it allows
the typodont to be seated at a 45 degree angle for ideal presentation of bracket
systems.

Labeling
To further personalize and differentiate your typodont, the typodont
can be plated (embedded), engraved or laser printed with information specific
to customer preference ie. name, logo, and other pertinent nomenclature or insignia.

Made of durable, rigid plastic with die-cut foam inserts, the Chatter-Box©
is excellent for presentation and is designed to provide maximum protection of
the model during shipping and handling.
